It's important that you are comfortable using and carrying a firearm before you purchase one. There are varying calibers and actions available to try while participating in the class. No live ammunition or firearms are to be brought into the classroom.

Programs
Concealed Handgun License Certification
NRA and USCCA certified instructor covers home defense and concealed carry rules of engagement.
This 8 hour course meets or exceeds the state requirements to obtain a certificate of completion for handgun safety and handling to apply for a Concealed Handgun License in Ohio and a Concealed Pistol License in Michigan.
Home Defense
In this class home defense is incorporated because safety begins at home and most people just don't realize that it can happen to them. It starts with the fundamentals because most people don't think about home safety on a regular basis.
Refresher Course
If you knew then, what you know now, you would have gotten so much more out of what you were learning. Like watching a movie for the second time, you catch what you missed the first time. Even if you have a license to carry, the Concealed Carry and Home Defense Course will give you a new perspective, especially on training.
